The Dr Guislain Museum sheds light on the history of psychiatry and challenges society’s understanding of what is considered ‘mentally ill’ and ‘normal’. It was founded in 1986 as a tribute to Dr Joseph Guislain, a visionary who advocated for the humane treatment of people with mental illness.
Explore the thought-provoking permanent collection and temporary exhibitions in this historic setting.
